Together, our community can ensure veterans have a safe place to call home and the stability to move forward.
Together, We Can End Veteran Homelessness in Collier County.
We’re raising $1.2 million to retire the capital debt on the Zulu Project, a 10-unit apartment complex that will soon provide supportive housing for 20 veterans experiencing homelessness. Purchased in late 2025 and now undergoing renovations, this property is the final piece in our mission to achieve Functional Zero veteran homelessness in Collier County, meaning every veteran who wants safe housing will have access to it.
Your support will:
Every gift moves us closer to debt-free ownership and a brighter future for those who served. Please join us in giving veterans the second chance they deserve.
Warrior Homes of Collier is a registered nonprofit organization, EIN: 46-4973419.

Provides safe housing for veterans experiencing homelessness
Supports veterans with housing stabilization and pathways to long-term independence
Helps Collier County reach and sustain Functional Zero veteran homelessness
Community donations directly support the purchase, renovation, and long-term sustainability of the Zulu Project apartment building. Paying off this property ensures Warrior Homes of Collier can continue providing housing and supportive services for veterans while sustaining Functional Zero in our community.
Many veterans in our community face unexpected challenges after returning home, including housing instability, health challenges, employment transitions, or recovery from substance-use struggles. With stable housing and supportive services, veterans receive a hand-up — not a handout — allowing them to regain independence, reconnect with family, and rebuild their future.
Your support helps make that second chance possible.

Donations to the Zulu Project support the purchase, renovation, and long-term sustainability of the apartment building that will house 20 veterans in Collier County. Community support is helping Warrior Homes of Collier pay off the property over the next two years so the organization can maintain housing capacity and continue its mission to achieve Functional Zero veteran homelessness locally.
Functional Zero does not mean that zero veterans ever experience homelessness. It means that homelessness is rare, brief, and non-recurring because the community has enough housing resources to quickly identify and house every veteran who wants assistance. While some individuals may choose not to accept services, housing is available for every homeless veteran who seeks it.
