Our signature program, Warrior Homes, is held close to the hearts of many patriotic citizens, charitable organizations, and government services within our county. Warrior Homes provides healthy and safe living environments for veterans in need of a hand up and not a handout.
Warrior Homes started in early 2018 as the result of our community coming together to address the homeless issues faced by local veterans. Many businesses, contractors, and volunteers have generously donated their time and materials. Without our supporters, the Warrior Homes program would not be what it is today.
We help reduce homelessness in veterans by collaborating with our community partners, St. Matthew’s House, St. Vincent de Paul, the Hunger & Homeless Coalition and the VA. In addition, major support and funding by the private sector such as the Collier Community Foundation, the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation, and philanthropic donors and organizations like Gold Star and Blue Star Mothers has allowed us to fulfill our mission.
To end veteran homelessness in Collier County, we have committed to a Functional Zero status, meaning no homeless veterans in Collier County. The Warrior Homes program currently provides 39 beds for local veterans. We believe this capacity can house veterans who want to be housed for the foreseeable future.

Alpha House, located in Naples, provides short-term transitional housing for local homeless veterans who struggle with mental health and/or substance abuse issues. The average stay is 8 months; more than 30 veterans have been housed since its opening in 2020. Alpha House has a success rate of more than 80% for veterans transitioning successfully back into the community. This home was made possible in part by major donations from Doug Dittrick, Gina Boesch, and several anonymous donors.
Bravo House, which opened in April 2021, is a 3-bedroom home located in Naples and provides long-term, supportive housing to senior, single, unmarried veterans who meet eligibility. Rent is capped at 30% of the veteran’s gross income. The average resident age at Bravo House is in the mid 60’s to mid-70’s age range. This home was purchased with a major donation from the Collier Community Foundation.
Charlie House, which opened in April 2022, is also located in Naples and provides long-term, affordable housing to senior single, unmarried veterans who meet eligibility requirements. Charlie House was made possible by an anonymous donor.
WHC wants to ensure that there is always a permanent home in Collier County for Veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Please help us achieve our goal of No Veteran In Need Is left behind.

Delta House, which we purchased in 2022, is a 10-unit apartment complex that provides long-term supportive housing for up to 20 male & female veterans. Residents are a mix of ages, and some are employed and/or studying a trade or working towards a college degree. Delta House is located in South Naples near the Collier County government complex.
These twin homes, which sit side by side in the Bayshore area, are the latest additions to our portfolio of properties. They are owned by Collier County and are leased to us as part of the county’s commitment to help end veteran homelessness. Each home has three bedrooms and two baths, plus shared living spaces for our veteran residents to gather and relax. The first veterans to call these houses home will move in in January 2025.
