Warrior Homes of Collier receives $5K donation from Home Depot for the Zulu Project

Warrior Homes of Collier recently received a $5,000 donation during the grand opening of the new Home Depot in Naples. As part of the celebration, the Lely High School marching band performed the Star‑Spangled Banner, followed by a check presentation with Store Manager Jan Pabey and Warrior Homes Founder and CEO Dale Mullin.

The funds will support continued renovations on the Zulu Project, a 10‑unit apartment building that will house 20 veterans beginning this fall. The Zulu Project is the final milestone needed for Collier County to reach Functional‑Zero status for veteran homelessness.

“On behalf of Warrior Homes of Collier, we really want to thank Home Depot for this check for $5,000. It goes a long way toward helping us end veteran homelessness in Collier County,” Mullin said.

The store opening also featured refreshments, giveaways, and a free kids workshop. Home Depot has been a generous supporter of Warrior Homes for more than a decade.
