Vasari Cares Foundation Grants $18,000 to Warrior Homes of Collier for Zulu Project

Warrior Homes of Collier continues its mission to end veteran homelessness with the help of an $18,000 grant from the Vasari Cares Foundation. The funding will support the Zulu Project, a transformative initiative to renovate a 10-unit apartment building in Naples that will provide housing for 20 veterans by mid-2026.

The grant will help cover essential noncapital costs such as furnishings, utilities, and move-in assistance — ensuring veterans have a strong start in their new homes.

“With the support of partners like the Vasari Cares Foundation, we are able to move closer to reaching ‘functional zero’ for veteran homelessness in Collier County,” said founder and president Dale Mullin.

Warrior Homes currently operates six residences and connects local veterans with critical services, including mental health support.
