When you give to Warrior Homes of Collier, you deserve to know your money is doing what we promised. Transparency and accountability aren’t just policy here; they’re why donors keep coming back.
We are proud to share that 95 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to programs and services for veterans in Collier County: safe housing, mental health support, education, and the wraparound services that keep those who served from returning to homelessness. Together with our community partners, that stewardship has helped cut veteran homelessness in Collier County by 88% since 2020.
Setting up a single bed costs roughly $150,000 in one-time capital: the purchase price of the home or apartment unit, plus the renovations needed to make the space safe, clean, accessible, and ready for someone to call home.
That's a one-time investment in a permanent asset. Once a bed exists, it houses veteran after veteran—which is why we account for these dollars carefully and why 95 cents of every dollar donated goes to helping veterans, not overhead.
After completing The Zulu Project, Warrior Homes of Collier will have 59 beds available for veterans in Collier County.
At Warrior Homes, it costs $51 a day in operating expenses to support a veteran in long-term housing, net of the veteran's rent contribution, which we cap at 30% of their gross income.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards of fiscal responsibility. Our IRS Form 990, independent audited financial statements, and third-party charity ratings are all posted below. They document every source of funding and how those resources are allocated.
Your trust is our greatest asset. We work to honor it with every dollar received.
Warrior Homes of Collier has earned the 2026 Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid, the highest level a nonprofit can achieve. This prestigious seal reflects our deep commitment to openness, accountability, and excellence in nonprofit stewardship. It means donors, partners, and the community can clearly see our mission, financials, goals, impact metrics, and how we’re working to end veteran homelessness and keep our veterans housed.
