Building the Warrior Homes Endowment Fund

Creating a legacy of stability, dignity, and support for veterans in need.

The Warrior Homes Agency Endowment Fund, held and professionally managed by the Collier Community Foundation (CCF), provides long-term financial strength for our mission. By building this fund, Warrior Homes ensures that veterans in our community receive stable, reliable support, today and well into the future.

What Is the Agency Endowment Fund?

This endowment is a permanent charitable asset owned by CCF and established for the benefit of Warrior Homes. Nonprofits often create endowment funds to build reserves and secure a dependable source of long-term financial support for the organization’s mission and charitable activities.

How the Fund Works

  • Fund assets are invested through CCF’s pooled investment portfolio and grow over time through market performance and donor contributions.
  • Each year, Warrior Homes may receive an annual distribution, typically 4–5% of the fund’s 16-quarter rolling average.
  • The remaining balance stays invested to provide perpetual support.
  • CCF handles investment oversight and administrative management so Warrior Homes can stay focused on serving veterans.

Ways to Contribute

  • Bequests through a will or trust
  • Beneficiary designations (IRA, 401(k), life insurance)
  • Gifts of appreciated stock or real estate
  • Qualified charitable distributions (QCDs) from IRAs

Leave a Legacy for Veterans

A legacy gift to the Warrior Homes Endowment Fund at CCF ensures your commitment to local veterans continues far into the future. Gifts of any size help grow our permanent endowment and strengthen our mission for years to come.
